Are there any art collages who don't want portfolios submissions drawn from life?

Obviously most, if not all, art collages want our portfolio submissions to be drawn from life, and show a wide range of colour, shade, ect. But are there any collages that focus more on creativity, and will not frown upon pieces drawn using photographs as references, as long as the drawings are still good and your own ideas?
